Hi There!

Welcome to my blog.

I love cities - glam - airlines  -  and photography.  All of the images on this site were taken by me on my travels around the planet.

I can't wait to have you come on some of my adventures!

Hotel Indigo Rome Review - Touring Headquarters (FCO)

My love affair with Indigo Hotels continued on my recent visit to Rome.  I was there for the weekend and was completely enamored with the property, location, and service!

Here’s a quick review of my stay:

The Indigo Rome is a fantastic home base for exploring the city – both the historic sites and the trendy hot spots!

The Vatican, Pantheon, Fountain of Trevi, Castel Sant’Angelo and other must see treasures are a short walk away.

And once you have had your fill of sites you can saunter from the Indigo to Trastevere – a hip artist enclave with cobblestone streets and tons of character.  It’s bursting with popular restaurants, tavernas, and late night drinking establishments!

Rooms

The rooms at the Indigo Rome definitely have a designer cool vibe!  Everything looks like it was carefully selected – from the fabrics to the wall coverings.

My room had a massive black and white photograph that covered the wall above the bed.  I felt like I was sleeping in an art gallery!

Bold burgundy bedding and carpeting also elevated the hip factor of the room. And I loved the built in seating by the window (a great spot to cocoon in after a long day of touring)!

The Bathroom

The bathroom was splendid!

It was massive by European standards with a large countertop and walk-in shower.  I especially loved the Etro bath products from Milan.  They were heavenly.

Indigo hotels always knock it out of the park when it comes to toiletries!

My Verdict

The Hotel Indigo Rome is a true find.  It’s in an absolutely fabulous location, has wonderful rooms, and amazing bath products! I will definitely be coming back on my next adventure to the Eternal City!
