Austrian Airlines Business Class A320 Review (NCE)
This is a mini post - for a mini trip! I recently took Austrian Airlines from Nice to Vienna. Here's my review of the 90 minute hop!
Austrian, like all european airlines, doesn't install special business class seats on their smaller jets. Instead, they block the middle seat to give you a sense of roominess. While this may seem a bit unglamorous (it is!) ---I still appreciated the space as the coach can be packed to the rafters. I knew this going in - so I was not dissapointed.
On my flight, the coach seats were new, sleek, and leather with signature red piping. They were comfy and I loved how they matched the overall Austrian Airlines brand.
The flight attendants went into turbo gear to get lunch ready as soon as the plane leveled off. With less than 90 minutes they didn't have time to spare.
On my flight they served a scrumptious mushroom goulash. To be truthful, it didn't look that appetizing. However lacking it was in looks, it tasted amazing! I would have taken a second serving for sure!
I thought the fusion plating of the food was fantastic. It was half "Heidi of the Alps." half geometric mod!. Notice the complimentary angles of the cake and the plate - and the potato scoop and the bowl! Someone was having fun with this!
There isn't too much to report as this flight was short and sweet! They served one of the better lunches I have had in Europe and I would definitely fly them again.
