Indigo Hotel Berlin - Ku'Damm: Review – (BER)
I am a huge fun of the Indigo Hotel brand. You don’t pay a lot and their properties are over the top fun and cool. They always have unique designs that reflect the city they are in – all with a hip, contemporary slant.
Here’s a review of my recent stay at their establishment in Berlin.
The Indigo Hotel is in a great spot for exploring Berlin: Ku’damm. It’s three blocks from the Zoo Garden train station, which has several main lines going through it. And if you are in the city for a conference like I was – it’s only a few stops to the Messe (Trade Exhibitions Halls).
On top of this it’s an easy stroll to the sites and elegant shops that line Kurfürstendamm.
I loved the rooms at this hotel. They were large, stylish and bright. I could have moved in there was so much storage and space!
I particularly appreciated the generous size of the work area. Designer seating, a slick white desk, and a personal Bosch coffee machine within reach – I couldn’t ask for more as I motored through PowerPoint presentations!
The bathroom was almost spa like. A massive chamber – with a walk-in shower covered in iridescent tiles. The multiple shower heads (including a rain option) were a welcome site after walking about the trade show floors for hours!
The cherry on the cake: the Aveda bath products. My favorite by far and rarely seen in a hotel! Rosemary Mint – the best!
I did have a drink in the bar – but I did not take a picture. It almost felt like someone outside the hotel managed it, as it was not on the same level of hipness as the rest of the property.
Not to worry though – you shouldn’t really be clubbing in a hotel bar in Berlin – which has some of the most exciting nightlife in the world!
The Hotel Indigo Ku'Damm: Cool | Well Priced | Great Location | Fab Bathrooms!
I had a lot of fun staying at this property and look forward to coming back: especially if I am in town for a conference!
