LOT Polish Airlines Business Class Review –Embraer 195
“A lot of punch in a tiny flight!” That’s how I would describe my 90-minute journey from Warsaw to Stockholm on LOT Polish Airlines in Business Class.
Here’s a compact post – for a compact flight.
Many of the regional flights in Warsaw board at remote gates – which can be an exciting experience!
You can see the whole plane – and it feels like you’re boarding a glam flight from the 50’s! As I climbed the stairs, I felt like Anita Ekberg from La Dolce Vita!
LOT follows the lead of most European airlines when it comes to business class configurations. Instead of dedicated seating, they leverage economy seats, blocking the spot next to you to ensure there's plenty of room.
This was totally fine for a 90-minute flight. In fact, it felt luxurious as the entire aircraft was packed to the rafters.
The service was amazing - especially given it was such a short flight.
As soon as we took off the flight attendants sprung to action, starting with the drinks. I went for the 12 year scotch – and some tea! The attendants popped by several times to make sure I was topped up as we jetted towards Scandinavia.
Incredibly, there was also a choice of TWO different cold plates on this flight: I selected the seafood salad but I could have gone for the pork gravlax.
Again this was a short flight. If it had been in North America – I wouldn’t have had anything to write about.
Instead, LOT rolled out a solid, friendly service to make sure the experience felt premium – even if it was just 90 minutes!
I wouldn’t hesitate to travel with them short-haul again.
